MEN’S AUTUMN LEAGUE

Standings - Week 5 

• Autumn League will run for 6 weeks – 2/3 November to 7/8 December inclusive.
• It will be a mixture of competition formats –
? 2/3 November - Week 1 – fourball – O’Meara
? 9/10 November - Week 2 – scotch foursomes - Montgomerie
? 16/17 November - Week 3 – singles - Montgomerie
? 23/24 November - Week 4 – scotch foursomes – O’Meara
? 30 November/1 December - Week 5 – fourball - Montgomerie
? 8/9 December - Week 6 – singles – O’Meara.

• Points will be awarded to the top-20 players in the weekly competitions, ie, the top-10 pairings in the fourball and foursomes, the top-20 players in the singles.

• Fourball & foursomes – winning pair will get 20 points, 2nd pair will get 18 points, 3rd pair will get 16 points, and so on down to 2 points for the 10th pairing.

• Singles – winner will get 20 points, 2nd will get 19 points, 3rd will get 18 points, and so on down to 1 point for the 20th player.

• You can play with different partners from week to week. Partners A & B can play in the first fourball, partners A & C can play in the first foursomes, partners A & D can play in second fourball, partners A & E can play in the second foursomes.

• The overall winner will be the player with the best combined points total from 3 of the 6 weeks, and may only count one score from each of the 3 formats, ie, their best combined points total may only consist of one fourball, one foursome and one singles points tally earned. Tie to be decided using foursomes score; if still tied, then by fourball score, and finally by singles score, if required.

Winter Handicaps will apply to each of the Autumn League (but not to midweek competitions).
Adjustments will apply as outlined below, and will be determined by the GUI category the player is in on the competition day:
• Fourball / Foursomes – the top-4 prize-winning pairings (8 players in total)
• Singles – the overall nett winner & runner-up, the gross winner, and the 4 division winners (7 players in total).
Cat 1 – 0.5 shot reduction
Cat 2 – 1 shot reduction
Cat 3 – 1.5 shot reduction
Cat 4 – 2 shot reduction
Cat 5 – 2.5 shot reduction.
